Aashish Dhanani

I am a master’s student in robotics at the Robotics Institute at Carnegie Mellon University, where I am a member of the Robotic Caregiving and Human Interaction (RCHI) Lab advised by Prof. Zackory Erickson. My interests include robot learning, human–robot interaction, and embodied intelligence. I am especially interested in building learning-based systems that can operate robustly in real-world environments and interact effectively with people.

Previously, I earned a B.S. in Computer Science from Trinity University, where I worked on interpretable machine learning for longitudinal health data with Prof. Yu Zhang. I also competed on Trinity’s men’s tennis team.
